I Have a Can of Kirin and Something to Say
There was some guy at the Tennoji JR Station today holding a beer and spouting drunken nonsense at passersby. It was beautiful. I've been known to spout some drunken nonsense myself from time to time but I lack the mental capacity to understand it when I hear it.
I found out that the mountain I'll be a guide on this weekend (Ontake-san) is not a mountain at all but an active volcano. I guess if I get caught in an eruption and die at least my friends will have a good story to tell. Just remember to end it "He was helping some old lady off the mountain and when he was overcome by the lava." not "I heard he was crying like a little bitch up there."
